Cacao
- Cocoa is a successful tree in the tropics in equatorial Africa and in Cameroon in particular.
- But here we are dealing with cocoa from Cameroon wich is the 5th in the world in production, and first in quality, thanks to its partially noticed vegetable aroma.
- The southwest of Cameroun is the first producer of cacao followed by the MBAM. But in the southwest, planters use wood-fired ovens to dry their cocoa, which spares the cocoa with smoke. This need for ovens is caused by the heavy rainfall in this country.
- However, the cocoa in the MBAM is naturally dried thanks to the sun. Which help to retains its natural and unique chocolate aroma.
